KARACHI: At least 21 suspects were arrested on Wednesday night during Rangers raids at different area in Karachi.
Rangers carried out strict snap-checking of people at many points in the metropolis. Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar was also stopped in Clifton during the snap checking. His vehicle was also searched by the Rangers personnel.
According to the details, six Afghan nationals among 21 suspects were arrested in the raids. A drug peddler, Hakeem Baloch was also arrested. A huge cache of drug was recovered from his possession. Rangers conducted raids in Korangi, Saoodabad, Surjani Town, Shah Faisal Colony and Saeedabad. Rangers spokesperson said the suspects were involved in terrorism, transportation of weapons and drug peddling.
