Rangers not needed in Punjab: Rafique Rajwana

Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana has said that circumstances in Karachi and Punjab are totally different adding that Punjab not needed Rangers to deal with criminal elements.

Talking to journalists in Islamabad the governor said that the panama leaks issue case forwarded to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) then why need of protest at Abapara round about.

He suggested that to use legal way in this scenario adding that way of movement will harm national interests.

Governor Punjab said that the government will complete its constitutional term and expressed confidence that the government will be in power in next elections on basis of its performance.

Commenting on the MQM Rajwana said that the MQM’s founder statement is embarrassing; however, Farooq Sattar and others have parted ways from their leader.

The work could not be done with anyone who is against Pakistan, the governor added.
