Islamabad (September 29, 2017): Police and Rangers jointly conducted search operation in G-6 in Islamabad in a bid to ensure peace and order during Muharram.
Police and Ranger coupled with intelligence agencies operative conducted search operation in Sector G-6 of the federal capital.

During the operation, some 180 houses were searched and 220 people were checked.
The particulars of the residents were verified through bio-metric system and houses were searched.
The search was conducted in the areas falling in the remits of Abpara Police Station.
The action was taken in the wake of Ashura to ensure peace and order.
