Rangers, Police Decide to Conduct Joint Operation in Karachi

Karachi (July 25, 2017): The Rangers and police high ups have decided to set reward money of Rs 10 million for identifying terrorists. They have also decided to conduct joint operation in the city.

The decisions made in a meeting presided over by Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Mohammad Saeed and attended by IG Police Sindh, Additional IG and other officials of Rangers, police and intelligence agencies.

The meeting reviewed the law and order situation, attacks on police and launching of Rangers-Police joint operation in the metropolitan.

DG Rangers Sindh also decided that anyone providing authentic information regarding attacks on police or the identity of the attackers will be awarded Rs10 million. Secrecy regarding the name of the informant will be maintained, the release said.

The meeting devised a strategy for combined operations and to improve communication between law enforcing agencies.

The high ups of Rangers and police have also agreed to make sure strong mutual cooperation and harmony among the law enforcement agencies to make Karachi operation more effective.
