Islamabad(June 03, 2018): Former MNA from Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, Rashid Godil, joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday during a meeting with PTI Chief, Imran Khan.
In a statement issued on the same day, Imran said they were glad to have someone from Karachi join the party as they wanted to bring change in the city.
He added Karachi is the financial hub of Pakistan, which was “not prospering”.After announcing his defection, Godil spoke to the media saying no decision on constituencies was made during his meeting with Imran. “Have [only] joined PTI today.”
Earlier, News was in the media that Rasheed Godial and former Minister of N League from Lahore, Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor are expected to join PTI today.

On the other hand, backdoor talks of Chaudhry Ghafoor with PTI leaders are underway, he is also expected to join PTI today.
Yesterday, Central Leader of Pakistan Muslim Nawaz (PML-N) and former Federal Minister, Sikandar Hayat Bosan decided to Join PTI.
According to the details Sikandar Hayat Bosan has decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and he will be the candidate of NA 154 from the PTI’s Rank in upcoming general polls of 2018.

On June 1, Former Governor Punjab and disgruntled leader of PML-N, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa on Friday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Khosa announced to join PTI after party chairman Imran Khan met him at his residence in Lahore.He said that Imran Khan came to his house along with senior leadership and offered him to join the party.
The former PML-N leader further expressed full confidence on the leadership of PTI chairman.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan while welcoming Zulfiqar Khosa in the party expressed happiness over the Khosa family joining PTI.

Responding a question over the issue Imran said “Our objective is transparent elections; after we suggest a name that becomes controversial should we turn it into an ego issue that we will continue to stand by the name just because we proposed it,” said Imran.
