Rawalpindi: No. of Dengue patients soars over 2,200

Despite tall claims the number of Dengue patients has soared to over 2,200 in Rawalpindi. Aroud 150 children have also been effected by the virus so far.

Rawalpindi administration has arrested 129 people, sealed 250 buildings and business places, lodged 713 FIRs and imposed hundreds of rupees of fines over dengue.

This year 5,788 people suspected to have dengue were admitted in hospitals 2,255 of whom were diagnosed with the virus.

According to commissioner Rawalpindi dengue larvae was found at homes.

Six dengue patients have died so far.
