Reforms in Laws Aimed to Facilitate People: Farogh

Islamabad (December 14, 2018): The minister for law and justice Farogh Naseem signalled that an ordinance can be brought to amend the laws so that people could be facilitated.

Talking in Abbtakk program Tonight With Fereeha, the law minister said that if opposition opposed the reforms in laws it will be exposed before the people.

“In the present laws the procedure of transfer of property or heir takes seven to eight years, however after the change in laws it will only take 15 days that will pave the way to resolve the long pending heir issues within days,” he said.

Replying to a query over 18th amendment, Farogh said that no any kind of discussion was held regarding amending the 18th amendment, however, it can be further improved.Dismissing consultation over National Reconciliation Order (NRO) with PM Imran he said that PM had never discussed NRO with him as there was no room for NRO in constitution and laws.
