KARACHI: In the light of decisions of the National Coordination Committee meeting Sindh government has extended lockdown in the province till June 30 but it will be relaxed from the previous one as markets and business activities will be allowed from 6 am morning to 7 pm in the evening.
The Sindh government has issued a notification regarding the extending lockdown. According to which the lockdown will be relaxed from Monday to Friday while it will be more strict on Saturday and Sunday.
All the major and small markets will be opened from 6 am morning to 7 pm in the evening.
For public transport, the provincial government will decide the matter today as the Minister of transport Owais Shah will meet transporters today.
As per the notification educational institutes, training institutes, marriage halls, business centers, expo halls, sports clubs and gyms will remain shut.
Sports tournaments, beauty parlours, cinemas, mausoleums and theatres will also remain closed.
Restaurants and food centers are allowed to take away and home delivery services only.
District administration has powers to restrict the movement of the people after reviewing the situation in the coronavirus hit areas.
Wearing of masks have been declared mandatory across the province.
