LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded to call all parties conference and initiation of contempt of court proceedings against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen.
PML-N secretary information Uzma Bukhari has submitted a resolution demanding initiation of contempt of court proceedings against Jehangir Tareen.
As per the resolution, Jehangir Tareen has constantly been attending federal cabinet meetings despite declared ineligible for any post or having any public or party office by the Supreme Court while Prime Minister Imran Khan completely handed over agriculture department to Jehangir Tareen. Henceforth, the PA asserts the SC to take notice of Jehangir Tareen interference in the government affairs.
On the other hand, another PML-N woman member Hina Pervez Butt also submitted a resolution which said that law and order situation is getting the worst and demanded to set a national strategy how to tackle menace of terrorism also demanded from government to call all parties conference and all the religious-politico parties must be invited to the conference.
