Islamabad (September 13, 2017): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that review petition filed by Sharif family was an attempt to divert SC attention from supervision of NAB references against the family.
Talking to media at Supreme Court, he said that PIT was closely observing court proceedings on review petitions filed by the Sharif family.

He added that the review petitions were attempt by the family to save themselves from accountability.
He also claimed that the family was trying to overturn the 6-month time-frame given to accountability court to hear the references against the family.
“NAB is siding with the Sharif family,” he alleged.
PTI leader Naeem ul Haque also addressed media personnel and lashed out at the National Accountability Bureau, saying that it was using delaying tactics to stall proceedings.
“PM secretariat’s in-charge is still working on Nawaz’s orders,” Haque said, while demanding that the apex court take suo motu notice of this.
The leader further urged the apex court to issue instructions for releasing reports on the Dawn leaks and Model Town incident.
