Argentina beat the strongest hockey team Belgium by 4-2 goals to claim its first gold medal.
Argentina attacked Belgium goalpost from the very start of the final of men’s hockey which were replied by Belgium which scored its first goal in the third minute of the game.
Making a great comeback Argentina scored three goals simultaneously in 12th, 15th, and 22nd minute of the game to strengthen its dominance. In the 60th minute Argentina’s Agustin Mazzilli scored the second goal pushing the lead to 4-2 which remained intact till the close of the game.
Germany beat Netherlands 4-3 in penalty shoot-out to win the bronze medal.
