Rizwan Ton Helps Set 285-Run Total Against Kangroos In 2nd ODI

SHARJAH: Wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan maiden ODI century helped Pakistan to set a handsome total of 285-run to Australia in the second match of five-match series.

The green team did not get a good start as opener Imam Ul Hah lost his wicket without a score while second opener Shan Masood bowled early at a total score of 35 after making 19 runs.

The splendid century of Muhammad Rizwan paved the way for the green team reaching a reasonable total of 285-run to the Kangaroos while Muhammad Rizwan scored 115 runs and skipper Shoaib Malik scoring 60 runs remained prominent. Haris Sohail returned back to pavilion after scoring 34 runs.

Australia’s Richardson and Karter Neil took two wickets each while Adom Zimpa, Leon and Aeron Finch got one wicket each.

Earlier, the green team skipper Shoaib Malik decided to bat first after winning the toss.

Muhammad Husnain has debuted from the green side replacing Muhammad Amir while Australia squad remained same as of the first match.

It is pertinent to mention that Australia has an edge over Pakistan as it defeated Pakistan in first ODI played at Sharjah.

It is also pertinent to mention that today Pakistan and Australia have completed a century of their ODI face off.
