‘Robot Zoo’ catches attention in London

LONDON:A museum in London has opened an exhibit of colorful, larger than life robotic animals.

The Horniman Museum calls it a “Robot Zoo.” It is designed to teach visitors about the inner workings of real animals by using robots to expose their anatomy.

The creatures on display include a chameleon, squid, housefly, cricket, and rhino. The robots are made out of familiar household machines. For example, the housefly’s mouth is a vacuum cleaner.

The exhibit uses interactive games and challenges to teach visitors about the natural world.
