Rs 5000 To Upper Utility Bills Be Adjusted For Next 10 Months, Orders CM Sindh

KARACHI:Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah Sindh on Sunday directed the all the power distributors companies of the province to adjust the bills of the people having bills of amount Rs 5000 or more in wake of the economic slowdown due to the global epidemic coronavirus.

In his statement, the CM Sindh instruced the HESCO, SEPCO, K-electric that the people who have bills to pay of amount Rs 5000 or more be adjusted for the next ten months.

The CM said that these instructions are being issued for Sui-Southern as well while no connection of electricity or gas will be disconnected in the next two months while such a strict decisions have been taken in wake of the coronavirus.

Besides, Chief Minister (CM) Sindh also announced to set up a fund for the coronavirus while in his video message the CM Sindh said that an account has been set up in the Sindh Bank and he appealed to rich and generous people of the province to donate in the fund with open heart.
