MULTAN: Russian ambassador to Pakistan Alexey Yurivich Dedov announced that Russia was planning to envisage easy visa policies for industrialists to enhance trade ties with Pakistan.
Ambassador Dedov said that Russia showed agreement to provide assistance in power sector if Pakistan clarifies their policies but the country was willing to privatise the sector. He was addressing Chamber of Commerce officers during his visit to Multan.
He said that medium transfer of Muzaffargarh power plant of capacity 6000 megawatts to coal power was not an easy task and the Pakistani government has not have required resources.
Dadov offered the industrialists to sell electricity to power sector after an agreement with Russian government for 50-100 megawatts electricity generation clusters which definitely would increase business besides taking control on energy crisis.
