RIYADH: Eidul Azha is being celebrated in Saudia Arabiar and other Gulf countries, besides in UK and the United Sstates. The faithfuls there will sacrifice animals to commemorate the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
According to Arab media, stringent security measures have been taken in most cities of Saudi Arabia including Madina.
As Eid is also being celebrated in Egypt, UAE, Iraq, people there will also sacrifice animals in the memory of the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Irbahim (AS) to sacrifice his son prophet Ismail (AS) on the order of Allah Almighty.
Palestinian will also celebrate the Muslim festival, but the Zionist administration has erected barriers on road leading to Gaza and other cities of the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, Muslims in US and Europe including UK, France Germany and other countries will also celebrate Eid today.
