Samjhota Express Tragedy Case Will Be Forwarded To ICJ: Rahman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate standing committee on Interior Rahman Malik has said that Indian Premier Narendra Modi himself confessed involvement of his country in the Samjhota express mayhem of 2007 and Pakistan will forward the case into an international court of justice.

Talking to media alongside families of people martyred in the mayhem outside the parliament Senator Rahman Malik said that we are stood by the victims of the tragedy adding that 76 Pakistani lost life the terrorist activity.

Senator Rahman Malik said that we will forward the case to the international court of justice adding that Indian premier himself has confessed his country involvement in the incident and had blamed Indian political party congress behind the incident.

Rahman Malik said that eyewitness of the incident Rana Shaukat has been announced for Sitara Shujaat by the Senate committee.

He said that a case pertaining the Samjhota express was registered in Sargodha Cantt and it will be forwarded to next level adding that regarding the case FIA, officials from law ministry and Interior have been called by the committee in this month of May.

Rahman Malik further apprised that Pakistani ambassador to Indian will also be called in the next meeting of the committee as well and victims statements will be recorded in the courts.
