Islamabad (May 14, 2017): Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says One Belt One Road initiative is a harbinger of shared hopes, common prosperity and win-win cooperation among the people of the World.
Addressing the thematic session on “Connectivity of Think Tanks” in Beijing on Sunday, he said China has created the necessary cooperative mechanisms and brought its intellectual, technological and financial resources to make it a reality.
The Adviser said through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Pakistan is privileged to be the first flagship project of the Belt and Road initiative.
Sartaj Aziz said simultaneously, several energy generations and distribution projects have been launched and Gwadar port is being developed as the corner stone of OBOR.
