Riyadh (June 29, 2018): Ministry of Religious Affairs of Saudi Arabia government, has warned that the Umrah pilgrims overstaying in Saudi Arabia after expiry of their Umrah visa will face a penalty.
Umrah pilgrims overstaying in Saudi Arabia, after expiry of their Umrah visa will face a fine of fifty thousand Riyal and six-month imprisonment.Ministry said while quoting the Saudi authorities that in case of failure of fine deposition, additional imprisonment will have to be imposed.
They further said that if the Umrah pilgrims do not return within scheduled period, tour operator’s license will be canceled along with other strict penalties.
