GWADAR: Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Khalid Abdul Aziz has revealed that Saudi Arabia will be making a huge investment in Pakistan very soon which is deemed to be their biggest one in history.
According to details, a meeting was held between the Saudi Minister with Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi in Gwadar.
In the meeting, Prince Khalid said that the brotherly ties between Pakistan, China and Saudi Arabia will prove to be the topmost example of ‘mutual sharing’ to the world in near future.
On the occasion, Ghulam Sarwar Khan asserted that some Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in regard to the Oil City Project will be signed in February 2019.
He added that with the participation of Saudia Arabia as the third major party in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the significance of the historical project will reach new heights.
Earlier on Saturday (January 12), a delegation of top officials led by Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi received the Saudi Minister upon his arrival in the country.
Saudi delegation was briefed at the Chinese Complex in Gwadar where they were updated by Chairman Gwadar Port Dostain Khan Jamaldini and DG Gwadar Developmental Authority (DGA) regarding the ongoing developmental projects at Gwadar port.
