NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative at the United Nations, Dr Maleeha Lodhi on Friday termed Security Council (SC) ‘irresponsible’ for not acting upon the passed resolutions pertaining to violation of human rights in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Addressing the United Nations on negotiation process for reforms in the Security Council, Maleeha Lodhi said that only temporary members in the UN were stressing on the inclusion of reforms and that too for their benefits.
“Not fulfilling your vows to the people residing in occupied areas is a huge question mark on the progress of the Security Council”, maintained Maleeha.
