ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday issued the verdict taking action against false witnesses.
The SC had formed a larger bench in his chair consisting up of seven judges to identify the definition of terrorism and for false witnesses.
The SC after brief hearing issued written verdict against false witnesses which stated that action will be taken against false witness over his false statement and no flexibility will be shown in this regard at all.
In it’s the 31-page verdict, the SC said that truth is the base of justice while justice is base of any civilized society and compromising on truth will be compromised on the future of the society.
The court said that one who lied at once will be a liar at all places and falsely testify at one position will be considered false for the whole case.
The SC added that the judicial system faced huge loss over deviating from truth and time has arrived to correct the mistake.
