Islamabad (June 07, 2017): The Supreme Court on Wednesday sought reply from the joint investigation team (JIT) investigating Sharif family business dealings abroad over leaking of Hussain Nawaz’s picture of his appearance before it.
On Wednesday, the three-member special implementation bench of the apex court heard Panama implementation case.

Head of the JIT Wajid Zia presented the last 15 days progress report of the JIT in a sealed envelope.
At the outset of the hearing, Hussain Nawaz’s counsel Khwaja Haris informed the bench that his client had submitted application against leaking of his picture of appearance before the JIT.
He pleaded the court to restrain the JIT from video recording of its proceeding, saying that it was illegal. He further pleaded that a commission be constituted to probe into leaking of the picture.
Upon this Justice Ejazul Hassan said that Hussain Nawaz’s leaked picture was screen shot and not of video recording.
Justice Ejaz Afzal said that let the bench first hear the JIT over the issue. “ If need arises of detailed investigation then the court will look into it,” he added.
The members of the bench reviewed the progress report. Justice Ejaz Afzal and Justice Azmat Saeed also held consolations over the report.
Presiding Judge Justice Ejaz Afzal said that the JIT had mentioned difficulties and issues it was facing. He remarked that whatever problems the JIT was facing the court know it.
He directed the JIT head to submit a separate application detailing the problems and issues the Team was facing.
He added that the bench would issue directives to Attorney General for Pakistan for resolving the problems.
Justice Ejaz Afzal remarked that the 60 days time-frame given to JIT for completing the investigation was final and would not be extended anymore.
The court adjourned hearing of the matter relating to Hussain Nawaz picture leak by Monday while the hearing of implementation case two weeks.
