The cruelty of Pakistan’s justice system once again appeared chronically when apex court has issued verdict to acquittal of two brothers, who were hanged one year earlier before the verdict, of Rahim Yar Khan while the families of both staged demo and demanded justice.
One year ago two brothers- Ghulam Qadir, Ghulam Sarwar- nominated in murder case and later hanged, have been set free by the supreme court but unluckily both had been executed on October 13, 2015.
According to details in 2002 Salma, Abdulqadir and akmal of Basti Ranjhy had been killed and a case has been registered in Sadiqabad police station against eight accused- Ghulam Fareed, Ghulam Qadir, Ghulam Sarwar, Karam Hussain, Ghulam Ghuos , Karam Hussain and Munir- however trial court had acquitted six of them while Ghilam Fareed was sentenced to life imprisonment . Two brothers Ghulam Qadir, Ghulam Sarwar had awarded three times death sentence.
