ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday has summoned chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) in a case pertaining to the illegal constructions in Bani Gala.
As per details, a two-member bench of the SC heard a case pertaining to the illegal constructions in Bani Gala.
During the hearing, the court in its remarks questioned that where is chairman CDA. To this, the lawyer of the CDA chairman told the court that he was unable to make it to the court in today’s hearing.
At this, the court expressed displeasure over his absence and questioned why CDA is not functioning properly? Justice Ata Bandial in his remarks said that the CDA is not following the orders of the court and sought a detailed report on the work progress on the sewerage system.
The court then summoned the CDA chairman on next hearing and adjourned the hearing.
