ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday fixed the hearing of a petition filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the release of Shehbaz Sharif and Fawad Hasan Fawad on bail.
According to details, a three-member bench headed by Justice Azmat Saeed will hear the NAB pleas on April 9 (Tuesday).
It must be noted that NAB has challenged the release of Shehbaz Sharif on bail in Ashiana Housing Scheme and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.
Earlier on Feb 14, the Lahore High Court (LHC) accepted bail petitions of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in Raman Sugar Mills and Ashiana Housing Scheme Case.
On the other hand, Fawad’s bail petition in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case got approved, though his petition in assets beyond sources of income was rejected by the bench.
On October 5, 2018, NAB had taken Shehbaz under their custody in Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case.
