Peshawar: Chief of Awami Natioanal Party (ANP) Asfand Yar Wali has declared the Supreme court opinion on the presidential reference regarding senate elections as historic and victory of the democracy.
In its statement issued from Wali Bagh, Asfand Yar Wali said that we are saying from very first day that legislation is the work of the parliament which is being demoralized by the PTI government.
He said that the government bad intention has exposed from the SC verdict adding that from the very first day the government is following dictator style ruling. He added that the government has turned parliament into the ordinance factory.
The senior politician said that the government if sincerely were interested for open ballot then it would have kept the opposition with it side adding that the opposition is also a part of the democracy while the government ego has ruined the system of the government.
He said that the judiciary is an institutions for interpretation of the constitution but the government wanted from it decision of its choice while he said that the government has turned confused after distrusting its own members.
