LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI leader Naeemul Haq on Sunday said that though the Supreme Court’s decision to adjourn the hearing of Panamagate case was disappointing, they hoped new bench to hear the case would be constituted at the earliest.
Talking to media at Lahore, Haq said that PTI leader counsel had completed his detailed arguments in Panama leaks case, but due to legal complication he would have now to argue the case afresh.
He added that the PTI counsels would plead the case before the new bench of the apex court.
He added that a meeting of PTI top leadership was convened on Tuesday to deliberate over Panamagate issue, adding that PTI would also go to the people’s court over the issue and party chief will address big public gatherings.
The PTI leader said that people were being appointed in Pakistan Cricket Board on political basis for the last many years that had politicized the PCB. He said that the cricket system had become faulty. He called for overhauling the PCB system.
The PTI leader said that Imran Khan wanted to promote games in the country.
