LAHORE: The first section of the newly constructed Lahore-Sialkot motorway has been opened for the traffic while it will take a few months to make functional completely.
According to the DG ISPR, the 22 km long section from Kala Shah Kaku to Mureedkey of Lahore-Sialkot motorway has been opened for general traffic and the remaining portion of 59 km will be completed in few months.
DG ISPR further mentioned that the 91 km long motorway is being constructed by the army’s construction wing Frontier Works Organization (FWO).
After the completion of the motorway, it will help to reduce the traffic mess from GT Road and M2.
