North Waziristan (October 02, 2018): At least Seven terrorists were killed and three injured after Pakistani security forces effectively aggressively responded to cross-border ambush in North Waziristan.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorists from across the border fire raided Pakistani border post in North Waziristan. The militant’s fire was effectively responded by Pakistani border post.

During the exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed while three injured, the ISPR added.
In September, nine terrorists were killed and seven security personnel martyred in an intense exchange of fire during an operation in North Waziristan.
Security forces launched an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan’s Gharlamai and Spera Kunar Algad areas, an ISPR statement read.
A group of terrorists was reported to have infiltrated from across and been hiding in a compound. Nine terrorists were killed with their bodies held during the operation.
During intense exchange of fire with terrorists, the statement read further, seven Pakistan Army soldiers including an officer embraced martyrdom.
Earlier on September 20, as many as five security personnel were injured in remote control blast in North Waziristan.
The blast took place in the area of Spin-warm. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated investigation into the matter.
