KOHAT/SARGODHA: Following the spate of terrorist attacks in the country the security forces have step up their crackdown on suspected terrorists and their facilitators and killed five Islamic State (IS) terrorists in Orakzai Agency in an action.
Sources said that the security forces conducted a search operation on a tip-off that terrorists were hiding in the area. The search operation ensued in an encounter during which five suspected terrorists were killed. The terrorists are said to be member of Daech or IS.
They added that the terrorists were trained by the commander of banned outfit Hafiz Saeed Khan in Afghanistan, who were later dispatched to Pakistan for carrying out terrorist activities. Heavy amount of arms and ammunitions were also recovered in the action.
On the other hand, Counter Terrorism Department of Punjab Police killed two terrorists in an action in Mittha Tiwana area of Sargodha. Arms and explosive materials were also recovered from the terrorists.
