Rawalpindi (December 08, 2017): Security forces carried out search operations in Village Shashi Khel of North Waziristan Agency and Kanda Garhi area of Lower Orakzai and various cities of Punjab on Friday and recovered huge cache of weapons along with apprehension of 18 terrorists, ISPR said in its release.

According to ISPR, the forces recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition hidden by terrorists including 12.7 mm gun, SMGs, missiles, 82 mm mortars rounds, huge reservoirs of explosive materials and grenades from Gandagari area of lower Orakzai.
According to ISPR at least 18 terrorists, their facilitators and smugglers were arrested during joint operation by Pakistan Rangers Punjab and other law enforcement agencies in Lahore, Sargodha, Islamabad and Bahawalpur.
The arms in large quantity, drugs and hundreds of bottles of wine were also confiscated.
