Two security personnel martyred in South Waziristan landmine blast

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Two security personnel embraced martyrdom when their vehicle hit a landmine in Angore Adda on Pak-Afghan border.

The vehicle of scout forces hit a landmine in Angore Adda area on Wednesday. Two personnel embraced martyrdom while other injured.

The injured were shifted to Scout Camp in Wana.

Earlier in the day, security forces killed five terrorists including a TTP commander in an intelligence-based operation in Lower Orakzai Agency.

The FC KP conducted the IBO in village Mirak, Kalaya, lower Orakzai Agency on Wednesday morning.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that a high-value target (HVT) was also killed in the operation. The HVT Shah Dauran, a commander of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban, was killed in the IOB.

In the exchange of firing, two FC men Major Mudassar and Sepoy Mateehullah embraced shahadat.
