KARACHI: Sindh Police have prepared a special security plan for Sindh including the metropolis on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, AbbTakk News reported on Tuesday.
According to Sindh Police spokesperson, total 35, 000 police personnel will be deployed across different spots in the province.
“Total 1,367 Eid Ijtimas (gatherings) will take place where a total of 15 policemen will be deployed for security purposes. Heavy police contingents will patrol on motorcycles and vehicles to ensure everything is in order”, Sindh Police spokesperson stated.
The spokesperson said that 20, 700 Rangers personnel will be on duty at congregational Eid prayers in early Wednesday morning.
He added that IG Sindh Syed Kaleem Imam has issued directives of carrying our snap checking and increase patrolling whereas steps are taken to prevent any disruption in the flow of traffic on Eid days.
“IG Sindh has ordered thorough checking across all Eidgahs, mosques and Imam Bargahs prior to Eid prayers. SHOs will apprise on pre and post-prayer scenarios to control room via wireless”, he added.
