ISLAMABAD: The Senate likely to approve 28th constitutional amendment bill regarding revival of military courts for two years in the country today.
Voting on 28th amendment bill will be held in the house today. Earlier, the voting on 28th Constitution Amendment Bill had been put off for six day as the government failed to ensure presence of sufficient members for the exercise requiring a two-thirds majority.
Law Minister Zahid Hamid had said in the last session that extraordinary situation and circumstance demanded continuation of special measures. He had said that military courts were necessary to tackle with the threats to national integrity. Hamid had moved the bill in the Senate.
