The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi on Monday lauded the decision taken by the Sri Lankan team to tour to Pakistan and termed it historic.
Talking to Abbtakk News exclusively, Sethi said that it was historic movement and will be remembered decades.
“The role Sri Lanka played in return of international cricket to Pakistan is unforgettable and nation will remember it decades,” chairman PCB said in joyful tune.
He hailed Sri Lankan board efforts and, particularly, president Sumathipala saying, ” I am really thankful to SLCB president Sumathipala.”
Sethi statement came just hours after Sri Lankan Board announcement that Sri Lankan team to play third and final T20 encounter in Lahore, Pakistan, on October 29.
Announcing the formal decision the Sri Lanka’s team management has said that team will play third T20 on October 29 at Qadhafi Stadium, Lahore.
