Several Pakistanis Include in Madina Bus Accident

ISLAMABAD: In Saudi Arabia, thirty-five passengers died in a bus accident near Madina Munawara.

In a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said the bus was carrying thirty-nine passengers from Riyadh to Makkah.

He said according to initial reports, the dead also include a certain number of Pakistani nationals.

The Spokesperson said four Pakistanis are injured in the incident and one of them is in critical condition.

He said the Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah has established contact with him and we are in touch with the concerned Saudi authorities and staff of the King Fahad Hospital, Madina to ascertain details of casualties of Pakistani nationals.

The Spokesperson said that for any information about the incident following officials can be contacted for information and facilitation.
