KUWAIT CITY: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait wherein Pakistan Kuwait bilateral relations and visa restrictions were discussed.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met Deputy Prime Minister-Cum-Interior Minister Shiekh Khalid Aljarah Alsabah and deliberated upon the bilateral relations and visa restrictions while Shah Mahmood Qureshi thanked Shiekh Khalid Al-jarrah Alsabah over the invitation and exemplary reception.
Talking on the occasion, Foreign Minister said that the Government of Pakistan and its people in their hearts have respect for Kuwait leadership and specially Emir of Kuwait.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that more than 0.1 million Pakistani manpower are taking part in the construction and development of Kuwait while he requested a review of Kuwait’s visa policy for Pakistanis and asked for exemptions to Pakistanis for visa restrictions and Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister ensured him considering the matter.
Foreign Minister also called on his Kuwait counterpart Shiekh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah wherein matters of mutual interest and regional issues came under discussion.
Kuwait Foreign Minister said that Pakistan is our brotherly Islamic country and Pakistani community has worthwhile services for construction and development of Kuwait.
