Mumbai: In a recent interview, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he will soon start shooting for his upcoming film in June.
Bollywood king khan had a blockbuster 2023 with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, which dominated the box office. Now, his fans eagerly await his next release, and the actor has shared an update about the shooting of his upcoming film, which is said to be the Sujoy Ghosh directorial King.
After such a busy year, Shah Rukh Khan has taken some relaxation time for himself. Currently, he could be spotted enjoying IPL matches of his Kolkata Knight Riders. While talking on Star Sports for Kight Club’s King Khan Rules, the superstar shared about being extremely busy due to his major comeback films and even talked about taking his next film on the floors soon.
During an interview Shah Rukh said, “I just felt I can rest a little. I have done two to three films and there was a lot of physical work also in all the three films. So I said maybe I will take some time off and I told the whole team ‘main aaunga matches dekhne.’”
Sharing a major update about his next film,the actor continued, “Fortunately, my shooting is in August or July. We planned in June, so it may start in June. So I am absolutely free till then. So I would like to come to all the home matches, because I love coming here (Eden Gardens).”
Shah Rukh Khan didn’t reveal the name of his next film but it’s clear that he was talking about Sujoy Ghosh’s King, which also stars Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan. As per the reports, King is the only confirmed project in the kitty of Khan right now and it is being bankrolled by Pathaan director, Siddharth Anand.
