Islamabad (December 4, 2017): Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif visit Chinese embassy and presented bouquet to the newly deputed ambassador Yao Jing.
During his meeting with the Chinese ambassador Shahbaz expressed well wishes to the Chinese ambassador over getting appointed as his country’s ambassador to Pakistan. The two dignitaries discussed a range of issues including bilateral interests, CPEC projects and extending cooperation between the two countries to various other sectors.
The China-Pakistan friendship and the economic cooperation between the two countries is strengthening with each passing minute, Shahbaz told Mr. Jing.
Calling Shabaz a visionary leader the Chinese ambassador also lauded Shahbaz’s “Punjab Speed” on his tireless efforts and extraordinary performance.
Appreciating Shahbaz for turning “Punjab speed” into a reality Mr. Jing credited the sitting government to bring the energy crisis under control by completing the power projects. The performance of the Punjab government lead by Shahbaz Sharif is in line with the public aspirations, he added.
Lauding Shahbaz for working tirelessly to promote Pak-China friendship and implementation of CPEC projects the Chinese ambassador termed Shahbaz’s determination and services in this regard unforgettable. The CPEC projects are being completed speedily in Punjab province under the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif, he added.
Calling Pakistan and China extremely close and trust friends the Chinese ambassador added that CPEC represents the development vision of the leadership of the two countries and it has given a new direction to Pak-China relations.
