Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif has demanded the United Nations to give Kashmiris thier right of self determination.
In his statement after one year of Indian lock-down in the Occupied Kashmir, Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) said that the credibility of the UN will be questioned until Kashmir issue is resolved.
Shahbaz Sharif said that depriving Kashmiris from their democratic, legal and moral right is to encourage jingoism and the sheer violation of the UN charter.
The Opposition leader said that on August 5 last year, conscious of the world and credibility of the UN were compromised.
He demanded international human rights organization take steps of sanctions against India over its atrocities on Kashmiri women and children.
The former chief Minister Punjab also demanded to call high level meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
He said that atrocities of Modi can’t stop rise of Sun of Independence for Kashmiris.
