Lahore: An accountability Court of Lahore adjourned hearing of the money laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz Sharif till October 20.

The ac Lahore headed by Judge Jawad Ul Hassan heard the money laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif family while Shahbaz and Hamza Shahbaz appeared before the court.

As the hearing progressed, Shahbaz Sharif said that he has been given discomfort on the instructions of premier Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar while the Judge asked him why did his wife Nusrat Shahbaz not appear before the court.

To which Shabaz counsel informed the court that Nusrat Shahbaz is under treatment abroad due to her illness and insisted the court to approve her petition for exemption from appearance before the court permanently.

The court asked reply from the NAB over granting exemption to Nusrat Shahbaz on health grounds.

While at the occasion, the NAB prosecutor informed the court that Shahbaz Sharif is being provided complete facilities in the prison, in his arguments he said that when Shahbaz asked about the flats, the accused replied that he borrowed money from Anil Musarat and Ajmal Aassi for buying the flats adding that Shahbaz sold a land of measuring 136 canal to Bahria Town back in 2011 but the accused hide it in the election returns.

On which, Shahbaz counsel Amjad Pervez advocate said that 85 percent of money for purchasing flats took from banks and all details have submitted in the court. While he asked the NAB they started investigation in 2018 what it unearthed from the inquiry against his client.

At the occasion, the NAB prosecutor asked the court 15 days remand to be given of Shahbaz Sharif for investigation of T Ts sent to Shahbaz Sharif companies.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he is ready to surrender if any single TT came on his name. After hearing the arguments the court adjourned the hearing till October 27 after granting physical remand of Shahbaz Sharif until October 20 while Hamza Shahbaz remanded until Oct 27.
