Shahbaz, Nisar Discuss Political, Party Affairs

Lahore (October 20, 2017):Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday.

According to the details, former interior minister and disgruntle PML-N leader Chaudhary Nisar has met with Chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. Both the leaders discussed various issues related to the country’s present political situation and party internal affairs.

According to details, both leaders have also discussed the court proceedings in Panama case and party position.

Talking on the occasion Shahbaz Sharif vowed that PML-N will eliminate corruption from Pakistan at any cost as everyone should work for the sake of the country.

“PML-N struggling to put Pakistan o development track, therefore the uplift projects being accelerated across the country,” shahbaz said.

It is worth mentioning that Chaudhary Nisar had met with deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif on September 25 and discussed government’s affairs.

CM Punjab has been holding multiple meetings with PML-N’s top leaders such as Saad Rafique, Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sanaullah since last week.

Shahbaz wants to ensure that there is no clash between institutions and is trying to ensure that MPAs and MNAs don’t confront institutions, according to sources

Moreover, sources claim that some politicians from south Punjab are trying to make their own bloc and Shahbaz is also holding talks with them to convince them otherwise.
Earlier in the day, Shahbaz said that those levelling baseless allegations are not serving the country and the nation.

He made the remarks after meeting members of the Punjab Assembly who called on him.

“Those indulging in politics of negativity do not have any passion for serving the people,” he said, adding that, “People are not served by hollow slogans”.

The Punjab chief minister claimed that they have saved billions of rupees while launching development projects.
