ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif has left membership of three standing committees while NA secretariat also issued notification in this regard.
The PML-N president and Opposition leader in NA Shahbaz Sharif has taken major decision as the government initiated efforts to remove him from chairmanship of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Shahbaz Sharif has requested to Speaker NA Asad Qaiser to remove him from membership of three standing committees and the speaker accepted his request.
The speaker Asad Qaisar on Shahbaz Sharif request ended his membership of standing committees on law and justice, information and culture and Kashmir affairs.
The NA secretariat accordingly has issued notification in this regard. Notification has been issued on date February 8 of this month.
The copy of the notification has been sent to members of the three standing committees, president house and all other concerned authorities.
