LAHORE: Former star cricketer Shahid Afridi on Thursday hinted about entering into politics, saying that Politicians serve the nation and I am doing the same.
While addressing the ceremony ‘Road to Education’ at a private university in Lahore, Afridi said: “The most valuable degree is to take care of mankind.”
The former skipper added, “Politicians are supposed to work for human welfare and I am doing politics.”
Afridi maintained that it is easy to criticize politicians. “Politicians are not solely responsible for the country, we will have to work together.”
Shahid Afridi supported the stance of the government on the Kashmir conflict, saying: “[Prime Minister] Imran Khan has delivered a perfect message at UNSGC.”
