ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) legislator and former prime minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday summoned by the National Accountability Bureau on February 8.
The former premier was summoned by the anti-corruption watchdog in Rawalpindi over charges of his involvement in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) scandal.
The summon notice was also served to the PML-N’s Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi over allegedly awarding contract of LNG terminal to blue-eyed company for 15 years that provided loss worth billions to the national exchequer .
The corruption reference was approved earlier by the NAB Chairman Justice (Retd.) Javed Iqbal.
