Islamabad: Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi has announced to challenge the NAB ordinance.
Talking to media after appearing before an accountability court in Islamabad, Pakistan Muslim League-N stalwart Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that four days have passed since retirement of the NAB Chairman justice (retd) Javed Iqbal adding that the government has clarified through the NAB ordinance that it want existing NAB Chairman will remain on his post for life time.
Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that Pakistan People Party (PPP) is not a part of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) but consultations occur with it on the country’s affairs.
He said that PDM will hold political rally in Faisalabad on October 16.
The PML-N leader said that no process of consultation over appointment of the NAB chairman could not be started nor it is expected.
He said that there is no focus of the government to control the inflation in the country adding that problems of the country are increased day by day and no one care for it.
