RAWALPINDI: After the cordoning of his residence Lal Haveli the chief OF Awami Muslim League Shaikh Raheed has announced to hold rally on Murree Road at 2 pm today. Police authorities say that permission would not be given to hold the rally on the said road and Shaikh Rasheed could be arrested for violating Section 144 though no formal directives have yet been received.
Asked the people and party workers to offer Friday prayer at mosques around Committee Chowk and surroundings Shaikh Rasheed has said that the rally would be held anyway.
He also said that the authorities have taken away the sound system, lightings and vehicles and many of party workers have also been arrested.
He also announced to address through TV channels at 2 pm today.
