Shameful When Lawmakers Consult Courts For Solving Issues: Justice Minallah

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday, during a hearing of a petition filed by two Ghotki sisters who were converted from Hinduism and married to Muslim boys, permitted them to stay with their husbands.

As per details, Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard the case of forced conversion of the two Hindu sisters.

The Secretary of Interior, members of the commission and the parents of the said girls have appeared before the court.

After a short hearing of the arguments by both parties, the IHC ordered the girls that they can stay with their husbands.

PTI lawmaker told the court I have proposed bills in the parliament too and I am hopeless to be succeeded. At which, Justice Athar Minallah said that a member of the ruling party is saying that he is hopeless and seeking the courts to help him which is shameful.

Justice Minallah also said that it is a shameful act for me when ruling party ask me to issue an order and say that they are helpless.
