All-rounder Shoaib Malik and pacer Mohammad Sami managed to get room in national squad after a long disappearance from international cricket as both players became part of T20 squad against guest Zimbabwe.
Shoaib Malik had made his Test debut against Bangladesh in Multan in 2001 and later became one of the top all-rounders of the country. He had also appointed skipper of all formats of the national team but pushed out of the national squad due to inconsistent performance. He had represented national team last year during World T20 2014 held in Bangladesh.
Right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Sami played his debut Test match against March 2001 against New Zealand in Auckland but failed to retain his room in the national squad due to poor performance. He played his last ODI and T20 match against Sri Lanka in 2012 and later he was restricted to domestic cricket. However, he fortunately gets change to come back following injuries of many fast bowlers.
